An e-magazine of this type fills the void within the dive industry for enthusiasts seeking daily doses of visual saltwater satisfaction.
The IN-SEA Brand began in the summer of 2008 when founder Ryan McInnis launched the internationally acclaimed IN-SEAtv video podcast series. His original vision was to share the beauty and excitement of the waterman lifestyle he was living in Wrightsville Beach, NC. Since then his endeavors have taken him far from his Atlantic backyard, and the series’ fan base has grown to over 100,000 in 130 countries worldwide through iTunes, Zune, AppleTV and the Smartphone Apps.
Beyond creating quality video content, Ryan’s editorial and photography work has gained momentum, gracing the pages of Hawaii Skin Diver, Spearing, Surf Carolina and Wrightsville magazines. By utilizing all forms of media he is able capture the majesty of the sea and of those who subside on her bounty. The opportunity to educate and entertain has been a driving force throughout his life, and this is what led to the inception IN-SEA Online.
Ryan’s diverse lifelong achievements include becoming a 3rd generation Eagle Scout, Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Master Licensed Sea Captain, Emergency Medical Technician and Level III Snowboard Instructor. His remarkable experiences include free-swimming with Great White Sharks, surviving Type II Decompression Sickness twice, scuba or freediving in 25 foreign countries, surfing the fabled North Shore of Hawaii and raising over $100k for the Make-A-Wish Foundation through his charity work.
